Our Mission

Our mission is to connect nonprofits in the UK and abroad with some of the world’s largest companies and their employees. By using technology to transform how charitable organisations receive funds, we free up their time and resources so they can focus on what matters — delivering community impact.

How are donations handled?

When you, people and companies, donate to the UKOGF, you advise the UKOGF as to which charitable and nonprofit organisations should receive support from your donation. The UKOGF then receives this donation and provides a donation acknowledgement (if applicable), aggregates all funds received and sends them to the recipient organisations monthly.

Although your donation is to the UKOGF and disbursements are within its discretion, your recommendation ordinarily results in a disbursement from the UKOGF - along with funds from other donors - to the donor-recommended organisation. In the unlikely event that a recommendation will not or cannot be followed for a particular organisation (e.g. it no longer exists, is no longer a nonprofit, does not accept the donation), the UKOGF will disburse the funds to a similar nonprofit organisation on your behalf.

How does the UKOGF help charities in the world?

The UKOGF’s primary purpose is to raise, aggregate and send charitable donations to nonprofit organisations as efficiently as possible.

Our commitment to reducing costs

The UKOGF is committed to reducing the costs of charitable giving by streamlining how donations are sent to charitable and nonprofit organisations. With a single aggregate monthly donation from the UKOGF, these organisations are no longer required to perform manually intensive administrative tasks, generate and distribute donation acknowledgments or verify individual donations manually. Similarly, donors find making donations more straightforward, as UKOGF working with Benevity have already done the necessary due diligence on non-profit organisations and causes all over the world.

Have you received funds from the UKOGF?

You may be visiting this website because your organisation received a payment from the UKOGF. This was made possible by employees or customers of companies recommending support for your organisation using the Benevity online platform. The funds were then disbursed to you by the UKOGF – typically the donation will represent one or more individual donations as well as matching funds and corporate grants from one or more companies.
